Sam Ssabagwanyi formally known as Musufu beat Uganda’s cycling Champion David Matovu in the Endure Mountain Bike Championships held Sunday at Jomayi Nalumunye, to be crowned Uganda’s Cycling Champion. Ssabagwanyi says endurance made him succeed despite the heavy rains and the bad terrain coupled with the muddy roads.
Ambience Within 53:5 Ssebagwanyi had already claimed the championship tittle of the first ever Uganda endure mountain bike championships tourney. Ssabagwanyi scored 500 points taking home 150 dollars as David Matovu matches 54:6 coming second with 450 points walking away with 100 US Dollars. Ambience
With the early morning down pour, riders seemed hit, before the first trackers hit the road to claim their positions. The event that was organized by Uganda Cycling Association attracted 38 Cyclists. Due to the muddy roads, cyclists were seen falling off the tracker, as others carried their bikes. Ambience
Talking ti UTN after the competition, Ssabagwanyi said his fast ride won him the tourney.
