POLICE CHOPPER KILLS ONE

Kajjansi - A police Chopper has killed one person during a training session at Kajjansi near Kampala.

The officer identified as Richard Kaweesa attached to the Force’s Tactical Unit of Counter Terrorism was crashed after failing to grab a training string in a session.

Police spokesperson Asan Kasingye confirmed to UTN that Kaweesa was killed by a Police Helicopter at Kajjansi airstrip.

Kasingye says the unit was undergoing normal drills when he was dropped by the chopper. Byte-Asan Kasingye

Kaweesa died from Kampala International Hospital where he had been rushed.

This is a second incident in which a Police chopper is involved in an accident in a space of two week, at low flying.

Two weeks ago, another chopper ransacked a private residence in Mutungo near Kampala.
