SGT KIFULUGUNYU SUCCUMBS TO HEART FAILURE

Kampala - The Army is mourning WOI (Rtd) Stanley Sempagalaknown as “Sgt Kifulugunyu”.

Sempagala popularly known for his song “OmwotoNawaka” was key in the NRA war between 1980-1986.

UPDF deputy spokesmanLt. Col. DeoAkiiki, said Kifulugunyu will always be praised for his music that boosted morale of soldiers in the war.

“WOI (Rtd) Stanley Sempala fondly known as “Sgt Kifulugunyu” However, he remains specifically remembered for boosting the morale of the fighters through his patriotic music.

As UPDF and the entire country had continued to enjoy his patriotic songs to motivate soldiers and the general public,” he added.

“May God strengthen his family as they come to terms with this loss. Fair thee well WOI (Rtd) Stanley Sempala aka Sgt Kifulugunyu.” Sgt. Kifulugunyu will be laid to rest in Mubende District.
