SECURITY GUARD SHOOTS CYCLIST

Police in Rakai is holding a security guard for allegedly attempting to kill a motorist.

Brian Musiitwa was arrested last evening after reportedly trying to rob Jimmy Mutyaba a boda boda motorist.

Mutyaba is nursing grave wounds after narrowly surviving the onslaught.

Mutyaba who plies his trade in Rakai town, was admitted in Rakai Hospital with severe injuries in the shoulder.

Mutyaba accused Musiitwa of trying to rob him of his cycle, which the later denies.

Meanwhile, it’s reported that Mutyaba was injured in a scuffle after he refused to pay for fuel at a petrol station. Mutyaba had reportedly refused to pay for the fuel at Petro Fuel Station in Rakai Town.

Mutyaba reportedly claimed that he had been given less fuel not worth Shs 2,000 he had paid to the pump attendant.

The attendant called Musiitwa the askar attached to Star Act Security Group who eventually shot at Mutyaba. Police CID for Rakai Davis Pande says investigations are underway.
