Forum for Democratic Change supporters from Mbarara visited the Party's Presidential flag bearer Dr Kiiza Besigye at his home in Kasangati. The supporters, who carried along with them an assortment of basic needs, revealed that they wanted to show their determination to stay put with Dr Besigye, and to give him hope. The supporters did general cleaning at Dr Besigye’s home,

and farm, and raised their fear about the ill health of their president, claiming that his condition is not stable.

While visiting col. Kiiza Besigye, a number of FDC supporters including leaders from Mbarara, vowed to continue standing with their president.


The FDC Chairman Mbarara district Katembeya Stanley, revealed that their president after being mistreated, and rigged in the concluded general elections, they sympathize with him.

He added that as FDC supporters from Mbarara, they were concerned about Dr Besigye's condition, and it’s one of the very reason, they decided to take him basic needs.

These supporters who spent the whole day at Kiiza Besigye’s home, did for him general cleaning.



Tukahebwa Alex, pastor for King of Kings’ Church in Mbarara, added that through prayers, they are convinced that God will answer their prayers one day.

Dr Besigye has not enjoyed his freedom of movement for the last one month, since the presidential polls in February.
