Kampala - In a bid to keep Kampala city clean, Kampala capital city authority has embarked on monitoring the five divisions making Kampala city in a Kampala sanitation week which started on the 14th of this month. Today the campaign has been in Kasubi 1and 11 with a theme GOOD SANITATION HOW IS YOUR LEADER, this way they have urged the entire community to keep
the facilities given to them intact and well with the major interest of keeping safe life and clean environment.
These are the Kampala Capital City Authority workers together with Kasubi residents Lubaga division started today early morning in a community work to clean sanitation and their community this campaign is aimed at improving sanitation and a clean environment in Kampala as a whole.
They emphasized cleaning the water trenches accompanied by emptying garbage collecting containers in the all area.
Joseph Kirabira the field waste officer Lubaga division called upon the residents of Lubaga to monitor clean sanitation and environment for a better life.
He further urged leaders and the entire community of Kasubi parish to handle all the facilities given to them with care with an aim of keeping sanitation and general cleanliness.
Kirabira says if people handle issues in community sensitized manner and togetherness with their leaders this will contribute on the level of sanitation in their community.
However their area councilor observed the increasing number of dogs each and every other day in their community which may result in danger to their people.BYTE EDRISA KASALIRWE
Kampala capital city authority together with the citizens will continue with this sanitation campaign week, starting with Kampala central Kisenyi parish -Luzige zone in the morning.
